Bookmark start and Tardis update

I didn't get as much work done in the bookmark yesterday as I had hoped. We have been having thunderstorms and rain the past few weeks. My minnie aussie is horribly scared of thunderstorms, so I spend most of the morning calming her down.
Rylee likes to hide behind the toilet during storms.

Here is my progress after yesterday.

Here is my progress after tonight. It was a slow night at work and I have able to get several things done.
I finished the white of the lower part of the screwdriver and started the outline. Is there anything more boring than stitching white on white?

I was able to make a bit of progress on the Tardis. There is a lot of single stitches so I've sort of been jumping around.

  1. Woo Hoo, Amanda, I am your first follower! You will love blogging. It is so rewarding and fun! Every one starts out with only one follower. I suggest you join some exchanges or SALs- a good way to get to know people. I will also mention your blog in my next post on the weekend. Have fun with all of this.

    Hugs, Kaye

  2. Your bookmark and Tardis look fantastic! Sometimes my work is slow and I can stitch on company time, too! Isn't that great?

  4. Hi Amanda. This is Linda from Stitchin with my Furbabies. I'm sure glad that SoCal Debbie is a computer detective. lol You left comments on both our blogs about joining our cut-thru SAL. We are very excited to have you. You might think about changing your comment setting. When you comment on our blogs you come up as a no reply, so we can't write back to you. Also, when we click on your name on our comment it goes to circles. Maybe you can change that to go to your blog name. Just suggestions. We have became followers and we also are doing a couple SAL's with Kaye. We have added you to our SAL pages on our blogs and would love to post your weekly updates on that page if it is okay. Please let me know.

    Linda

    1. Linda I think I've taken care of the problem now and it should be much easier to get in contact with me. A soon as I get started on the garden shed I'll let you know and am more than happy to have you post my progress. Thanks for joining my blog!
